Senior Computer Programmer Board of Elections in the City Of New York Starting Salary-$64,759.00 and a full benefits package Summary of Position The Management Information Systems (MIS) department is responsible for all the Information Technology requirements of the Board of Elections. Typical Work/Task Duties May Include: ? Under general supervision with some latitude for independent or decision this class of positions encompasses varied difficulties of work and or supervision in the development of computer programs. ? Responsible for PC and server Operations. ? Develop hardware specifications and build the base operating system for such hardware. ? Design and implement complex computer system. ? Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing systems. ? Develop and maintain software for Board of Elections use. ? Write and maintain computer programs. ? Maintain the Board of Elections applications page. ? ICN and web design. ? Create instructional videos. ? Configure, upgrade and install computer equipment. ? Assist in load set creation for servers or workstations as needed. ? Maintain databases log, sending to disaster recovery site. ? Comply with the Board of Elections in the City of New York Policies and Procedures Manual at all times. ? Perform any other task or responsibility as directed by management.
